چکیده

Competition in interference channels is modeled using noncooperative game theory. The well known Nash equilibrium often leads to inefficient solutions. In the current work, we study the achievable secrecy rate of a multiple-antenna (MISO) interference channel (IFC). First, we characterize the Pareto boundary of the secrecy rate region. Next, the parameterization is exploited to compute the Nash equilibrium. In contrast to the usual case in which the rate is considered as utility function, the Nash outcome is not maximum ratio transmission (MRT), it depends on the SNR and the channel realizations and it can be shown to be almost efficient at all SNR values. All results are illustrated by sample region plots, reaction curves, and average price of anarchy figures.

Achievable Secrecy Rate Regions of State Dependent Causal Cognitive Interference Channel

In this paper, the secrecy problem in the state dependent causal cognitive interference channel is studied. The channel state is non-causally known at the cognitive encoder. The message of the cognitive encoder must be kept secret from the primary receiver. We use a coding scheme which is a combination of compress-and-forward strategy with Marton coding, Gel’fand-Pinsker coding and Wyner’s wire...

On The Secrecy of the Cognitive Interference Channel with Channel State

In this paper the secrecy problem in the cognitive state-dependent interference channel is considered. In this scenario we have a primary and a cognitive transmitter-receiver pairs. The cognitive transmitter has the message of the primary sender as side information. In addition, the state of the channel is known at the cognitive encoder. Hence, the cognitive encoder uses this side information t...

Beamforming in Interference Networks: Multicast, MISO IFC and Secrecy Capacity

Motivated by the two-user beamforming in multiantenna interference channels, we characterize the upper boundary of the achievable single-user gain-region. The eigenvector corresponding to the maximum eigenvalue of the weighted sum of Hermitian forms of channel vectors is shown to achieve all points on the boundary in some given direction. Thereby, we solve three different beamforming problems, ...

The MISO Interference Channel: Competition versus Collaboration

We consider the problem of coordinating two competing multiple-antenna wireless systems (operators) that operate in the same spectral band. We formulate a rate region which is achievable by scalar coding followed by power allocation and beamforming. We show that all interesting points on the Pareto boundary correspond to transmit strategies where both systems use the maximum available power. We...

Improper Signaling on the Two-user SISO Interference Channel

On a single-input-single-out (SISO) interference channel (IC), conventional non-cooperative strategies encourage players selfishly maximizing their transmit data rates, neglecting the deficit of performance caused by and to other players. In the case of proper complex Gaussian noise, the maximum entropy theorem shows that the best-response strategy is to transmit with proper signals (symmetric ...
